A classroom that is connected to the Internet. Multiple computers access the Net (and other online components) simultaneously, from various locations within the classroom. Typically, a wired classroom utilizes a wireless LAN or wireless Ethernet, which provide high-speed access to multiple computers at a much lower cost than the traditional method of running cables through buildings and connecting them with switches or hubs.
