a.k.a. the Valley Most generally, when you hear someone talk about "the Valley" it is no longer San Fernando Valley near L.A., but rather it refers to Silicon Valley. On a local level, "the Valley" can refer to the nearest Siliconia center in that area (for example, "Philicon Valley").
