A useful software program that's available for download as freeware-apparently for noble reasons-but is actually part of an elaborate bigger marketing promotion.
For example, "I downloaded this cool new checkbook app, but I have to look at a picture of a bunch of Hollywood celebrities each time I want to use it. It must be pimpware promoting their new movie."
