Don't Use No Acronyms

(pronounced: doo-nah)

An acronym used primarily in texting, online chat, instant messaging, e-mail, blogs, and newsgroup postings, it is also considered a form of online jargon or text message shorthand.

It is an editorial comment used when reviewing draft documents that overuse acronyms. The writer typically comes to the reviewer asking what it means, and the reviewer chuckles and makes the point of how it shows that acronyms are overused.
