The text you sometimes see before an image appears on a Web page (or before an image is fully loaded). With some Web browsers, it is the text that appears when you put your mouse on top of an image or a picture. Basically, it is a word or phrase in the HTML code that describes the image or says something like, "Visit our sponsor."
