NetLingo Pocket Dictionary

You must enable pop-ups for The NetLingo Pocket Dictionary to work. It is a floating toolbar that you keep on your desktop in order to look up words while you are surfing around the Web! In just a moment (or once you enable pop-ups from netlingo.com), a small "mini-browser" should automatically launch on top of this screen. This mini-browser contains all of the words in NetLingo's dictionary.

The way it works is this: Once it's done loading, put your mouse on the Pocket Dictionary and scroll down or click on a word. The definition of that word will then appear in the main browser.  This way, you have two browsers open and you can go back and forth between them, a.k.a. multitasking. If you lose sight of the Pocket Dictionary it is most likely behind another "window" or screen on your desktop. In this instance, minimize your other screens until you see it again.

By keeping the Pocket Dictionary launched, you can still surf the Web in your main window or browser (or write an e-mail or do any number of things) and each time you come across a word you don't understand, click on the Pocket Dictionary to look it up. You then use your "back button" on the main screen to get back to NetLingo.
